Below is a collection of photographs taken at Washford in August 2009 during a shunting day where the CCT was moved out of the shed and positioned back with the other display vehicles on the field road at Washford.

Kilmersdon in brought out of the shed and positioned out of the way on the road to the extension.

The LMS CCT (covered car transporter) is brought out of the shed for the first time in 21 months after extensive restoration which included new doors on both sides and ends and a complete repaint inside and out. |
The stock on the field road is drawn out of the way.

The LMS CCT is shunted into it's display position at the end of the field road by the peat works. It is kept in this position as it has end doors which can be opened so the SDJR horse dray which is displayed in it can be removed easily if necessary.

The SR PMV is shunted back next to the CCT.

The SR Road Van / Brake Van is then taken to the shed where it is to have rain strips fitted to the roof to try and protect the sides and other minor repairs. Hopefully it will be back out on display again within 2 or 3 months and the Fruit D can then come in for major restoration. The SR 4 plank 10 ton wagon was also shunted into the extension where it will have a new weather cover constructed and fitted and minor repairs made before a repaint.
