Mike Beale's article to be part of Somerset Life!

People who know the Somerset & Dorset Railway are already aware that it is the 150th anniversary of the extension of the line to Burnham on Sea. Now Mike Beale's story of that historic event is to reach a wider audience through its publication in the next edition of the county magazine Somerset Life. The May edition of the magazine will also include a number of historic photographs from the Trust's collection. It is due out on 23 April.

The publication is timed to chime in with the exhibition about the extension at Burnham Tourist Information Centre, commencing 26 April, and Mike's talk on 3 May at the Baptist Church Hall, Burnham, on the same subject.
