This splendid piece from the railway came up for auction on 14 July. It was sold to a telephone bidder.
(The Trust's bid was unsuccesful.)
The green enamel sign was overpainted in BR(WR) times with brown and cream as can be seen in the 1965 photograph of the signalbox.
Many other signs from the line can be seen in the Trust's Museum at Washford.
