The Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust expects its 2008 Model Railway exhibition to be its biggest and best. The exhibition takes place on 5/6 January at the Village Hall, Edington, Somerset – the spiritual home of the S&D itself.

Layouts to be featured include:
  • Millwall Goods
  • Edington Junction
  • Bristol North MPD
  • Red Rock Canyon
  • Portminster
  • Dead End
  • Bembridge, and
  • Down Dale Village.

    Andy Watson will again give demonstrations on the art of modelling, and there will be a number of sales stands, including the Trust’s own.

    The exhibition will be open from 10.30am to 5.00pm on the Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on the Sunday. Entry fees are £3 adults, £2 concessions, £1 child and £6 for a family.
